Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis en la Rue de Vergy is aged one-half in Wineglobe. It has a charming nose, quite fresh with a slight Chambolle-like personality. The palate is taut and linear, fine tannins, smooth texture, not deep but joyful and energetic on its zesty finish. This will be difficult to resist in its youth.

Cask sample. Bright pink-ruby. More restrained; red cherry and raspberry fruit. High, fresh acidity and soft tannins. Doesn’t quite follow through on the finish. (MH)
