Tasting notes
The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is a pretty, soft white with lovely textural depth that adds raciness to the green, grassy Sauvignon flavors. The balance of aromatics, fruit depth and freshness makes the 2018 very easy to drink and enjoy. A Riesling-like white floral note lends an element of exoticism. The Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of Napa and Sonoma fruit.

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc bursts from the glass with notes of lemon tart, key lime pie and orange blossoms with nuances of acacia honey, baking bread, fresh grapefruit and crushed stones. Medium-bodied, the palate has fantastically intense citrus and mineral notes, framed by great freshness and a silken texture, finishing very long and perfumed.
About the producer

Spottswoode is one of those rare Napa estates whose reputation rests less on volume or spectacle than on persistent exactitude. Set on the western edge of St Helena, where the Mayacamas rise and afternoon breezes temper the valley’s warmth, the vineyard occupies a favoured pocket of the appellation.
