100% Tintilla (local biotype of Graciano – riper). Grapes sourced from pagos Balbaína, Amocadén, Sanlúcar and Añina, from four growers with whom they have contracts for 10 years. Very deep-coloured, small grapes. Fermentation in concrete tanks and stainless steel. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. 24,000 bottles produced. Fine and perfumed. Lots of mouth-filling fruit. Quite saline and also some pepper! Quite a chewy, sudden end. (JR)
