Tasting notes
Mid cherry red. Restrained, elegant first impression with aromas of ever-so-slightly stemmy dark fruits and a hint of peony, deliciously fragrant as it opens. Relatively light-bodied, the tannins so fine you almost miss them. Dry, fresh, long finish. Relatively light-bodied, harmonious and long. Such lightness of touch that it might not appeal to those seeking richness but it lingers long on the finish in a lovely dry aftertaste. (JH)

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers offers up pretty aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with spices, peonies and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it's charming and sensual, with excellent depth of fruit, supple tannins and a saline finish.
