Mid crimson. Medium intensity – rather medium in every respect. Sweet and round and charming already. Very Margaux. A little sinewy on the end but the tannins are very well managed. This could be GV so long as you don't need a very long-term wine. Hint of mintiness. Neat finish. (JR)

Very dark. Interesting peppery nose with real attack and vigour. Luscious fruit. Perhaps not the absolute concentration of a great long-term wine but should give lots of pleasure early. (JR)
