Tasting notes
Around 50% whole bunches for this vintage. Cask sample, to be bottled in February. Light to mid crimson. Deep aroma of non-sweet red fruits with a touch of peppery spice. Juicy, gently chewy, complete and harmonious already. (JH)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Village includes around 20-30% whole bunches. It has a light pepperiness on the nose, dark berry fruit, a touch of sous-bois . The palate is medium-bodied with quite fine tannins that frame the tart red fruit, a touch of orange sorbet towards the bright finish. This ends on a high note!
