2013 Cape Mentelle Sémillon/Sauvignon Blanc

52% Sauvignon, 48% Semillon. 7% of the blend fermented in new and seasoned French oak. Very grassy, peapod style. Good depth of fruit, some creaminess to the texture. Long and harmonious even though it is pretty crisp. Some sweetness of pineapple fruit on the mid palate. More concentration than some. (JH)
