Score 86+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Dark red. Primary, rather raw aromas of cassis and dark chocolate. Quite tough on the palate, with brooding, slightly drying flavors of dark berries, mint and minerals. Has density of material but is extremely backward and unforthcoming. Finishes with very firm tannins and rather strong acidity.
