Score 95-97/100 · Drink 2017-2037, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru is up to a whopping 82-liters this year, which must continue to make it the rarest cuvée in Burgundy. Just my sample must have made a dent in the total production! It has a beautifully poised bouquet - dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit with a subtle marine influence, including just a hint of Japanese nori, developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, succulent red and black fruit intermingling, leading to a caressing, tender finish. This is 75% whole bunch but you cannot tell. What a wonderful rarity...I wish you all the best in finding a bottle.
