Tasting notes
Aromas of pear, crisp green apple, bread dough, wheat toast and white flowers introduce the 2019 Meursault Les Tillets, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated wine built around a tangy spine of acidity. Concluding with a saline finish, it has the structure and substance to age.

The 2019 Meursault Les Tillets comes from a 0.74-hectare plot. Racked just before harvest, it has a tightly wound, focused, stony bouquet, light lemon thyme and jasmine scents emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and more animated and tensile than the Meursault Village, revealing a dab of lemongrass on the finish. It cuts off a little swiftly on the aftertaste, but otherwise this should develop nicely in bottle.
