Medium red. Wild, explosive aromas of black fruits and smoked meat. Superripe, sweet and creamy, with sappy and almost deceptively easygoing black fruit flavors. Finishes sweet, lush and long, with resounding flavors of dark berries, smoke and game.

Deep red-ruby. Ineffable musky, floral nose combines red berries, rose petal and coffee. Dense, broad, concentrated and sweet; huge but fine-grained, with solid underlying structure. Wonderfully long finish is lifted by notes of minerals and pepper. A very stylish, perfumed wine that benefits from the extra richness of the vintage.
