Tasting notes
From vines more than 100 years old, the 2021 Zinfandel Winberrie Knolls Vineyard was matured for nine months in 33% new French oak. It has layered aromas of wild berry jam, peach, aniseed and floral perfume. The light-bodied palate is soft and perfumed with mouthwatering acidity and an elegant, spicy finish. Only 60 cases were made.

The 2021 Zinfandel Hartford Vineyard pours a youthful and transparent purple, with more apparent oak spice as well as notes of toasted cedar, black cherry liqueur, and black licorice candy. With full body and rich extract, it has an inky texture, ripe, sweet tannins, and notes of mocha, leather, and blackberry compote that fill the palate. It is fleshy and full, with a round feel. Drink 2024-2034.
A deep and youthful ruby with a hint of purple, the 2021 Zinfandel Russian River Valley is ripe and juicy with boysenberry, mocha, and pine. Full-bodied, it lends a nice balance of ripe and tart fruit on the palate, with a classic feel to its fine tannins underneath a sheen of silkiness. It is ripe and rounded, with notable freshness and a good finish. Drink it over the next few years.
