Like its Meursault counterpart, the 2019 Auxey-Duresses is especially demonstrative and charming this year, wafting from the glass with a generous bouquet of cherries, red berries and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and fleshy, with a gourmand core of succulent fruit, it concludes with a beautifully precise finish. This derives from holdings in Les Fosses and Les Boutonnières.

The 2019 Auxey-Duresses Village has a fragrant bouquet with red cherries and strawberry pastille scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, crisp red berry fruit laced with mulberry and very subtle sweet toffee-ish notes on the finish.
