Tasting notes
Medium red. Superb lift and verve to the aromas of raspberry, rose petal and spices. Juicy, intense and sharply delineated if not especially fleshy or pliant. The flavors of dark raspberry, iron and crushed stone are youthfully tight today, but this firmly tannic wine's clarity and superb length suggest that it will reward time in the cellar.

Medium red, a bit less saturated than the Baudes. High-pitched nose dominated by minerals and crushed stone. Very fine-grained and juicy but youthfully tight, with a restrained sweetness and a dominant flavor of crushed stone. Terrific energy from the calcaire soil. A bit narrow today in the middle but with excellent verve. Finishes juicy and long, with a stony toughness. One for the cellar.
