A bit tired on the nose. Wet wool and weight but not a seamless line between first and last impressions. This is a bit cheesy too – like the 2012. I wouldn’t guess blind that it was from Meursault’s best site, I’m afraid, although it does at least have weight, even though a bit of heat too. (JR)

The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
