Tasting notes
A generous, demonstrative wine evocative of green apple, citrus zest, freshly baked bread and beeswax, Raveneau's 2019 Petit Chablis is medium to full-bodied, bright and concentrated, with a pretty core of fruit, racy acids and a saline finish. While it can be drunk young, the evolution of early vintages (from younger vines) suggests it will enjoy two decades' longevity.

The 2019 Petit Chablis has a lively bouquet of yellow flowers and touches of orange pith. The palate is nicely balanced and weightier than the 2020, although the warmth of the growing season precludes it from delivering tension on the finish.
The 2019 Petit Chablis has a very pretty, vibrant nose of fresh green apples, Conference pear and light white flower scents. The palate is well balanced with good weight, and a little waxy in texture, revealing attractive orange peel and apricot notes toward the chalky finish. Excellent.
