2005 Domaine Michel Gros Vosne-Romanée Les Brulees 1er Cru

Moderate wood spice highlights the notably ripe and highly expressive nose of earth and naturally spicy black pinot fruit that leads to rich, full and also very ripe big-bodied extract of pinot fruit flavors that possess good detail if perhaps a hair less concentration, all wrapped in a robust, muscular and wonderfully intense finish where a trace of wood resurfaces.
