Good healthy deep red. Red fruits, coffee and minerals on the nose. Sweet and full but bright, with cool notes of minerals and menthol contributing to the impression of energy. Finishes firmly tannic but not dry, with lovely perfume. A very good showing.

Deep red. Musky aromas of redcurrant, tobacco, spices and white pepper. Tangy, spicy and sweet but in a distinctly firm style. Finishes fairly tannic, even a bit tough, with a late suggestion of truffle.
