Tasting notes
100% Muscat of Alexandria. Aged in large oak casks and drawn off a solera. This smells like honeyed honeybush tea. Lavender, black tea, bergamot florals and fragrance dancing over a sensuously brocade-silk-heavy, dense sweetness. Maple syrup, nectarines and figs. Toffee and lime. Its stunning intensity brings another liquid note of caramelised apricots, another sharp scintilla of acidity sparkling through the slow-curve weight. Exciting wine. GV (TC)

Muscadelle. 12 years' average ageing. TA 3.5 g/l, pH 4.29, RS 232 g/l. Mid amber-tawny. Fudge, black treacle, raisins and honey on the nose. Intensely sweet, black treacle, raisin, smoke and spice palate. Very rich. (TJ)
Muscadelle. Average age of wine is three to four years. RS 350 g/l. Toffee apple and toffeed apricot. Gorgeous ginger spice and chamomile. Viscous and would be great with cheese. Caramel sweetness. Super-intense and generous. (JH)
Rose-petal aroma. Very clean and fresh and luscious though not that much rancio. Lots of charm and spice. (JR)
