Score 93/100 · Drink 1994-2003, Robert Parker, Oct 1993

Les Caillerets is an exceptional wine in every aspect. From its perfume of smoky, toasty new oak and honeyed melons and pineapples, to its lavishly rich flavors with explosive ripeness and extraction, this deep, full-bodied, majestic white burgundy should be at its best between 1994-2003. It is a remarkably rich and well-defined wine. Since 1989 the Domaine Amiot-Bonfils has catapulted to the top echelon of quality. This estate produced excellent, even stunning 1989s, excellent 1990s, and sensational 1992s. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA.
