Tasting notes
One of the more realistically priced Napa Cabs out there, Clos du Val's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Scents of black and red cherries, hints of violets and vanilla mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is silky and fresh, streamlined and classic in style. It's ready to drink now and should continue to drink well for the next decade.

Ripe red and black fruits, leafy herbs, spice, and a kiss of sandalwood all emerge from the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, a charming, balanced, classic 2022 that's perfect for drinking in its youth and over the coming 5-7 years or so.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a very pretty, open-knit wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, dried flowers and leather inform this gentle, easygoing Cabernet.
