Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2025-2029, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, Aug 2025

Full bottle 1,326 g.  Almost nothing on the nose, but packed with compact layers and layers of dark-cherry, blackberry and mulberry fruit, lead-pencil tannins, ink-dust minerality and dark-ivy leafiness. Very satisfying in that it oozes with flavour, sweetness, bitterness and gumption in every chewy mouthful. Unusual intensity and flamboyant panache. A Bourgogne that wants to move to Sicily when it grows up! (TC)
