Bright pale-medium yellow. Tight, pure nose hints at lemon zest and crushed stone. Delicate, juicy and intense, showing more citrus than stone fruits today. Silky and seamless in texture but at the same time more severe and backward and hiding its personality today. The precise, taut finish leaves behind notes of hazelnut and flowers. Needs a few years in bottle

(one of the two barrels is new): Pale yellow. Pepper, spices and minerals on the nose. Then a bit aggressive in the mouth, with tactile flavors of lemon, minerals, pepper and spicy oak. Today the juice from the two barrels does not knit well, leaving the very firm finish with a hint of bitterness. This one will be interesting to follow.
