2010 Château Bouscasse Madiran

Notably more alcoholic than the later vintages of this wine. Transparent ruby shading to a pale rim. Nicely evolved nose with a sweet start and a bit of spine. Clean and brisk with some relic of dry tannins even now on the end. Just a hint of alcoholic warmth on the finish. This vintage, definitely beefier and more concentrated than more recent vintages, still needs food! (JR)
