Score 18/20 · Drink 2021-2037, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Sep 2022

Disgorged January 2021. Dosage 2 g/l. From a single vineyard next to Clos de Mesnil. Aged in new oak for 11 months. From a single barrel made by a Champenois cooper. More developed and open-knit with stewed apple and sweet spice. Powerful and mouth-filling with such well-defined granitic complexity on the finish. Broad, complex, super-smooth fizz with brilliant integration from the oak and autolysis. Mealy, savoury character on the finish. (RH)
