Healthy light yellow. Pure, high-pitched aromas of lemon ice and orange zest. Wonderfully silky but firm, communicating terrific inner-mouth verve to its intense flavors of soft citrus fruits, flowers and powdered stone. There's nothing tart or bitter about this chewy, sappy wine, which offers a rare combination of thickness without weight. The broad, slightly saline finish boasts superb reverberating length.

Broad, rich and sweet. Not as exciting as it could be. (JR)

(aged in two used 350-liter barrels): Sexy, subtle aromas of yellow peach lifted by flowers. Very sweet, dense, sappy wine with solid tactile extract. Powerful and concentrated without coming across as heavy, showing surprising definition and lift. Finishes dusty and long. Should make a strong 2015. Michel Colin uses less new oak than son Bruno, noted assistant Pauline Genot.
