Cask sample. Looks reasonably evolved. Light red-berry aroma. And then almost decadently rich fruit on the palate. Pretty immediate delivery of pleasure, so long as you're not looking for a long-term bet. Quite persistent. GV (JR)

The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs has a little more volume on the nose compared to the "Dix Climats", the fruit slightly darker with hints of blueberry and iris flower. The palate is well-balanced with supple, quite fleshy tannins, slightly confit-towards the finish that just shaves away a little sophistication. Otherwise, this should give 10-12 years of drinking pleasure.
