Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2011

(blended with some merlot): Medium red. Currant, chocolate, tobacco and graphite on the nose. Supple and easygoing, with modest nuance to the flavors of black raspberry, cassis, bitter chocolate and truffle. A very ripe 2007 cabernet with moderate definition and grip but plenty of early appeal. Finishes with light, dusty tannins and a note of chocolate.
