Tasting notes
The single vineyard 2019 Condrieu Clos Chanson comes from a mix of clay and granite soils, and it offers a light gold hue as well as a brilliant perfume of white peach, honeyed tangerine, and flowers, and an incredible sense of salinity on the palate. Medium to full-bodied, it’s another impeccably put together, heavenly Condrieu from this estate that delivers everything you could want from this variety. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years as well.

A bit tighter in style than the expansive, flowery 2018, the 2019 Condrieu Clos Chanson adds pineapple and citrus notes to the ripe apricot flavors. It's medium to full-bodied, concentrated and focused, with a long, mouthwatering finish. An intense flavor ride, it should drink well for several more years.
Diaphanous yellow. Intense, mineral-accented scents of fresh pear, white peach and violet take on a citrus pith nuance with air. Silky and tightly focused on entry, then deeper on the mid-palate, offering sappy, mineral-driven orchard, pit fruit and Meyer lemon flavors that show noteworthy tension and floral lift. Closes with impressive, spicy persistence, repeating florality and vibrant mineral cut.
