Score 17/20 · Drink 2021-2024, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2020

Although it’s ripe cherry fruit which catches the olfactory attention first, autumnal hedges and notion of forest floor add further interest. On the palate it's again cherries, this time in marinade, which make the first impression, but then more savoury and vegetal notes enter the stage. There is plenty of juice, and the wood has been handled well to keep tannins moderate, just adding a little cedar spice to the flavour. (MS)
