Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2015

Pale, bright yellow. Yellow peach, citrus fruit and spicy oak on the nose, lifted by a floral note. Lovely ripe, oily flavors of lemon, flowers and crushed stone show a distinctive sweetness for the vintage. With its tactile, long finish featuring notes of nutty oak and incipient truffle, this wine is approachable already. But, like the Champs-Canet, it held up well with extended aeration. A very smooth, mouthfilling premier cru with lovely spicy persistence.
