Good bright, dark red. Very ripe, musky aromas of raspberry, crushed stone, flowers and sweet oak (60% new). Fat, lush and sweet but with good buffering mineral energy. This has the richness and complexity of a grand cru, with the sweetness of the vintage. Really saturates the mouth on the very long, suavely tannic back end. A beauty in the making.
