Tasting notes
Good full red. Complex, aromatic nose combines strawberry, raspberry, mint and minerals. Suave but tight, with high-pitched dark berry, mineral and mint flavors showing a slightly medicinal character today but filling the mouth with perfume. Offers a lovely combination of mineral force and weightlessness. But there's also plenty of sappy density here-and the firm tannins to support a leisurely evolution in bottle.

Bright red-ruby. Stony aromas of blackberry, licorice, minerals and flowers. Juicy and penetrating, with bright acidity framing the aromatic flavors of dark berries and violet. This rather tightly wound wine has real backbone but there's no hardness here. Finishes crisp, pure and youthfully backward.
