The 2012 Merlot Blueline is gorgeous. Ripe, racy and deeply expressive, the 2012 impresses for its balance and pure class. Sweet floral and spice notes add attractive overtones to a sexy Merlot built on pure 2012 vintage raciness.

A blend of 91% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, the 2012 Merlot Blue Line is soft, round, juicy, fleshy, lush and hedonistic with lots of mocha, berry, dark cherry and white chocolate characteristics. It should drink nicely for another 7-8 years.

The 2012 Merlot Blueline is gorgeous. Mocha, espresso, rose petals, dark red fruit and sweet spices all flesh out in the glass. The 2012 is racy, supple and beautifully layered. This is a gorgeous wine from Hourglass and winemaker Tony Biagi. The 2012 includes 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot.
