Medium yellow. Pineapple, grapefruit and crushed stone on the nose. Sweet and fruit-driven; much fresher than the Demoiselles but shows a distinct apricotty ripeness. Concentrated, chewy and seamless but could use more complexity. Will this age? Today the 2010 version blows it away.

(just stirred yesterday) Highly perfumed aromas of crushed stone, lime, menthol and white flowers. High-pitched, lemony and tight, with superb intensity and a distinctly juicy quality. Less exotic than the Demoiselles, and less 2009 in character. Not a fat style, partly owing to the high level of CO2 today, but there's nothing at all hard about this beauty.
