Moderately saturated red. Expressive, complex scents of cherry, smoke, underbrush and tobacco, plus a whiff of bloody steak. Supple, ripe and dry, with excellent spicy lift giving definition to the currant, raspberry and soil flavors. This expressive wine conveys a quintessential Gevrey wildness. Finishes with rather suave tannins and excellent length.

Bright, moderately saturated red. Musky, smoky aromas of redcurrant and underbrush. More energetic and sharply chiseled than the basic village Gevrey owing to its mineral energy. A sexy raspberry flavor is lifted on the back by a piquant suggestion of blood orange. This tight, high-pitched wine finishes with firm tannins and very good spicy thrust.
