The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is rich, heady and in the zone today. Sumptuous dark fruit, leather, incense, chocolate and new leather show the gentle patina of age. The 2015 is quite open at this stage, but it also has the depth and character to drink well for at least a few more years.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate shows all of the natural richness of the year in its dark, super-concentrated fruit. There is no shortage of depth or intensity, although a slightly roasted note keeps the 2015 from being as compelling as it could be. Blueberry jam, spice, mocha and chocolate open up in the glass.

Lastly, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is the spitting image of elegance, and like the Estate 36-24-36 cuvee, grows on you with time in the glass. Cassis, currants, violets, hints of graphite and lead pencil all flow to a full-bodied, seamless 2015 that has remarkable purity of fruit, fine tannin, no hard edges and perfect balance. Drink it anytime over the coming two decades.

A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hourglass Estate has a deep garnet-purple color and intense nose of cassis, mulberries and wild blueberries, plus suggestions of espresso, incense, licorice and bay leaves. Full-bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, it has a firm, finely grained tannic foundation and loads of spicy expression coming through on the long finish.
