Memento Mori's blocks of VHR were picked on September 3 (before the worst of the heat) and September 13 (after the worst). The result is a 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard that's nicely balanced and structured. Scents of mossy oak, black cherries and cassis mark the nose, while the medium- to full-bodied palate is ripe without being soft, firm without being hard, with a long-lasting finish.

Saturated purple-hued, with plum and blue fruits intermixed with chocolate, violets, and flowers, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard is full-bodied and concentrated, with a great mid-palate and a lively, focused, elegant mouthfeel. This beautiful wine will be long-lived and deserves 4-5 years of bottle age.
