Tasting notes
Coming from a mix of Clone 7 and Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard has a rich, powerful, full-bodied profile as well as ample dark currant fruit, notes of truffly earth, tobacco, and chocolate, building tannins, and a great finish. All these latest releases from Memento Mori are stunning, and this one deserves a solid 7-8 years of bottle age.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it sashays out of the glass with gregarious scents of black cherry compote, crème de cassis and spice cake with wafts of roses, mossy tree bark and beef drippings. Full-bodied, firm and grainy, it has a lively backbone to lift the generous fruit, finishing very long and wonderfully earthy. 250 cases were made.
