Ageing crimson. Concentrated and dry. Very sweet start and then a bit dead on the palate. The fruit may be slightly overripe. Dried out a bit. Not the finest. Strained. Tannins a bit green. (JR)

Tealeaf. More savoury than the Dow's, then raisins and mass and lots of tannins. Quite elegant and lively. Dry finish. (JR)

Medium ruby. Enticing aromas of cassis, lilac, licorice and mint. Rich, sweet and nicely concentrated; floral and dark berry flavors are fresh and pure. Stylish and seamless. Finishes with even, fine tannins and very good persistence.
