100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a barrel selection designed to exemplify the estate. Leslie Rudd created this label for his daughter Samantha, inspired by the Napa Valley. Vines over 25 years old on volcanic soils at 200 ft of elevation. Aged in French oak (57% new) for 22 months. Great balance between tannin, acid and fruit. Not sweet at all. Really appetising and dry on the end but with a very pure Cabernet Sauvignon character. Pretty impressive. Just about drinkable now with food. Great tannins! (JR)

Full bottle 1,540 g. Organically and biodynamically produced. Inky purple. Savoury potting soil, violets and sticky black plums. Very dry with high levels of rounded tannin and fresh acidity. Savoury earthy notes compliment the sweet oak on the finish. (SCJ)
