Cask sample. Bit more focus and precision than the straight village wine. Needs longer to mesh together but there is fine purity and tension here. Classy, dark-fruit oriented. Will age very well. (AWH)

(69+ year old vines located in Au Vell , En Champs, Les Marchais, Vignes Belle, Les Crais and Etelois). A slightly riper if otherwise similar nose introduces equally sleek, vibrant and delineated medium-bodied flavors possess better density and a lovely texture while displaying a refreshing salinity on the firm, serious and built-to-age finish. This wine has an excellent track record for developing well and the 2020 version should be no exception provided it is allowed to do so. (89-92)/2028+
