Pale, bright color. Fresh aromas of citrus, honey, spearmint and pink peppercorn. Fat, spicy and full, with the honeyed character following through on the palate. A bit warm with alcohol but offers good balance for the vintage. Better in bottle than it showed from barrel last spring.

Superripe yellow fruits show a slightly roasted character. Fat, sweet and honeyed, with good depth of flavor. But with its low acidity and alcoholic warmth, this comes across as a bit heavy.
