Tasting notes
Medium red. Complex nose melds minerals, pepper, flowers, coffee, spices and caraway seed, with maraschino cherry and licorice scents emerging with aeration. Dense but light on its feet, displaying good tangy energy to its dark fruit, spice, pepper and mineral flavors. In a rather masculine style and youthfully tight today, showing little in the way of easy sweetness. Finishes with a saline element and an impression of solid dry extract.

Medium red. Complex nose melds raspberry, spicy oak and sexy soil tones, all lifted by a tangy minerality. Dense, structured, vibrant Vosne-Romanee with captivating red berry, mineral and spice flavors. I love the combination of density and grip here: this one has the middle to support its firm tannins. Very suave and long.
