Dark crimson. Smells a bit overdone and wet furry. Too much winemaking? Round and flattering but it could do with a bit more freshness on the end. (JR)

Warm and meaty, also very slightly floral and smoky. Dense and taut with a lively freshness that I didn’t expect after the nose. Lots of sweet fruit to the end and firm but smooth, dry tannins. (JH)

Dark crimson. Pretty flashy nose. Sweet start and very winning even if the oak influence at the end is decidedly un-Margaux-like. A bit raw and uncomfortable to drink. (JR)
