Score 85/100 · Drink 1993-1999, Robert Parker, Aug 1993

Canon made a lovely wine in the sometimes underrated 1987 vintage. Medium ruby, with a fragrant bouquet of black fruits and spicy oak, this supple, easy-going, graciously endowed Canon should be drunk over the next 5-6 years. Last tasted, 3/90.
