Healthy bright rusty colour.  Very light but mellow nose.  It has some depth and lots of development.   Fine tannins in abundance but not uncomfortably so.  A good 1988. Lightly chewy and lots to get your teeth into. Could be very appealing with food. Lots there. Chestnuts. (JR)
