Pale cherry red. Lovely autumnal notes with bitter cherr fruit on the nose. Some acidity and a real kick on the palate. Lifted, flirtatious and already drinking well. (JR)

Marey Monge on the label. Very light nose and lots of tartness but more body and concentration than the Leroy Romanée-St-Vivant 1997. Still chewy on the finish. Decidedly firm still. (JR)
