TA 5.1 g/l, 3.49 pH. 18 months in new French oak. Dense, medicinal, very tannic and potent. Tightly packed. A powerhouse, and has impressive fruit with well retained acidity – but is reliant heavily on volume. (RH)

Deep dark cassis colour with black core. Very sweet dark fruit, almost a hint of dark toffee. Powerful with vanilla overlay on the fine cassis fruit. Very smooth though there's plenty of tannin. Milk chocolate afteraste. Drought led to 40% reduction in yields and lots of concentration.
