Tasting notes
Kirsch, ripe blackberries, peppery garrigue, loamy earth, and chalky mineral notes all define the aromatics of the 2020 Grenache, and this beauty is medium to full-bodied, has a deep, layered mouthfeel, terrific tannins, and a great, great finish. It's rare to find a Grenache with this density, richness, and complexity in the New World, and you could safely put this up with the greatest examples of the variety out there. Drink bottles over the coming 15 years.

Very stylistic throughout, the 2020 Grenache Estate includes 5% Syrah and was raised in 50% new oak. An intense ruby-purple color introduces a pure, purple and black-fruited nose with floral and underbrush touches framed by toasty new oak and hints of alcohol. The palate is dominated by dark berry fruit flavors with some quenching, bright, refreshing acidity on the finish, peering through oak-induced, vanilla-tinged tannins.
